Today we saw 3 Chicago artists!!!  Good to see so many familiar names…

Wael Shawky – two phenomenal films made with 200 year-old puppets, one from the perspective of the Christian Crusaders and one from the Muslims’

Also at the Neue Galerie were two works that I really loved but didn’t photograph.  One was by South African artist Zanele Muholi and the other by Anibal Lopez.  Both were extremely strong works.
